Driver & Road Cameras
eyes on the road. eyes on the driver.

GotYou has standardised on Hikvision cameras for fleet deployments — 5-channel HD evidence units with on-device AI for distracted driving, fatigue, phone use, tailgating, lane departure, and cargo-cabin events. Footage clipped per event, attached to the driver, surfaced inside your Wialon dashboard.

Hikvision AE-DI5052-G40 PRO industry dashcam — the camera platform GotYou Telematics has standardised on for fleet deployments.

On-device AI. Voice alert in-cab. Footage clipped automatically.

The AI runs on the camera itself — no monthly cloud-AI fee, no latency. Driver gets the warning the moment the event triggers; ops gets the 30-second clip on the dashboard.

Distracted driving

Head/eye tracking flags when the driver looks away from the road for more than 3 seconds. In-cabin voice alert is triggered immediately.

Fatigue + yawning

Yawn-rate and eye-closure detection. Frequent yawns or microsleeps escalate to the fleet manager + a voice prompt in-cab.

Mobile phone use

Camera identifies handheld phone use (and ignores Bluetooth + dashboard-mounted). Coaching-grade footage clipped automatically.

Seatbelt + smoking

Compliance gauge — seatbelt off or smoking inside the cab. Daily exception report straight to ops.

Tailgating + collision

Front-collision warning if following distance drops below safe threshold for vehicle class. Lane-departure when drift exceeds margin.

Camera tamper

If the lens is covered, blocked, or knocked out of alignment, the fleet manager is alerted within minutes — not at month-end review.

Wialon integration

Live stream any channel from the Wialon ops dashboard. Event clips auto-attached to the driver scorecard. Pull any 30-second window on demand — no waiting for a “driver” to email it through.

Four scenarios that justify the install

Insurance + SAPS evidence

Hard accident footage with timestamp, GPS, and event metadata. Brokers stop disputing premiums, SAPS gets the clip to lay charges, and your driver gets exonerated when they weren't at fault.

Driver coaching that sticks

We pull the 30-second clip around each event, tag it by driver and severity, and queue it for a Monday-morning review. Coaching with video reduces repeat events 40-50% in 90 days.

Cargo + load disputes

Was the seal broken at the depot or on the road? Was the pallet damaged loading or unloading? Cabin and side cameras settle the argument in 30 seconds, not three weeks of email.

Live ops visibility

Stream any vehicle's cameras live via the Hikvision server on demand. Useful for active hijack response, cargo-zone verification, and after-hours route checks.
